The Challenge
Every year, the Laguna Playhouse puts together a brochure of all of the upcoming performances and sends them to their various publics – season members, occasional attenders and the general public – with the goal of creating more awareness, interest , ticket purchases and memberships.
The Solution
Based on theme and the performance line-up, created the brochure for the season. It was widely circulated and the playhouse saw an encouraging number of ticket sales and membership renewals as a result.

Group Collaboration:
In order to put the many different Playhouse elements into the brochure, consistent two-way communication was needed between the various departments within the Playhouse’s structure (Development, Marketing & Communication, Accounting, Youth Theater and with the Artistic Manager).
Eye for Detail:
The brochure had many key show listings, dates, names, ticket information and membership information that needed to be all correct, accurate and formatted correctly.
Theme:
Each year, the brochure would take on a different theme that would carry the Playhouse though to the next season. From a design perspective, work needed to be consistent and creative to successfully portray that particular theme.
